The Cathedral relies on volunteers to welcome visitors every day of the year. Rostered volunteers give their time in the Cathedral or work as assistants in the Visitors’ Centre shop. Volunteers may also progress to becoming a Cathedral Guide giving tours of the Cathedral. Volunteers are offered training and support in their work and many enjoy the friendly atmosphere of the Cathedral.
